Self-Care, Spooky Edition: A List of Halloween Episodes From Your Favorite Nostalgic Shows

Every Fall when the leaves start to change and the weather cools, my sister and I have a tradition where we get together, bake cookies, and watch the Halloween episodes from our favorite shows growing up. Watching these shows fill us with blissful nostalgia and is something I look forward to every spooky season.

This tradition is simple, and something I was able to maintain through the stressful demand of graduate school. No matter how busy things got, I would be able to incorporate a Halloween episode here or there either as a study break, something to watch while cooking dinner, or a way to decompress before bed. Now that I am no longer a student and working as a Physician Assistant, the tradition continues. On my days off in the Fall, I have these episodes playing in the background as I fold laundry, do the dishes or catch up on other household duties (I swear I am always playing catch-up lol 😝)... or, I can watch them as I decompress from a long work week on the couch.

Six months ago, my boyfriend and I bought our first house together. This week, my sister and my niece came over to help me decorate it for our first Fall in our first home. We ate Crumbl cookies and had some Halloween episodes playing in the background. As simple as it sounds, it was a great way to recharge for my upcoming shifts and meetings this week.

Each year, we have to re-look up the episodes, so I decided this year, I am going to put it all in one place... my blog!! This way I can easily reference this post for the rest of this fall (& the many Falls to come), but also to share with you! I hope the next time you need a TV break, time to reset, or time to have on your own or with someone special, these episodes will bring you the break, sanity, and joy that you are seeking!
